Lochac University is a structure of the Kingdom of Lochac, SCA, Inc. created to support and facilitate learning and teaching events in our Kingdom.
Kingdom Universities like this one help build a culture of teaching, and provide continuity for both learners and teachers across multiple events.
In some kingdoms, SCA universities formally recognise those who have completed substantial learning and/or teaching at university events. In Australia, only registered higher education providers can offer Australian higher education qualifications. Lochac University does not offer any formal qualifications; it creates space for members to participate in informal teaching and learning experiences.
The Chancellor of Lochac University is a deputy of the Kingdom Minister for Arts & Sciences.
Lochac University supports learning and teaching in all the skills and disciplines of the SCA. Everyone has knowledge to share, and everyone is welcome!

Our inaugural event is The Three Corners of the World, a tri-kingdom university delivered in partnership with the established kingdom universities of Drachenwald and Atlantia. These universities graciously invited Lochac to join them in offering a round-the-world, around-the-clock online university event from the 7th-8th of February.
Together, our three kingdoms will offer The Three Corners of the World, a tri-kingdom university.
